How did a small toolmaker's shop in Vöcklabruck grow from its humble beginnings into an internationally operating family business with over 300 employees? With a corporate culture based on tradition and practised values, with a spirit of innovation and strict customer orientation. And with a family culture that has been able to guide the fortunes of the company for generations.
In the beginning there was a strong woman
Stefanie Ringer would be amazed if she could see the company she founded in 1944 today. She laid the foundations on which her three sons Josef, Isidor and Franz were able to build. They were a resounding success with the first tubular steel scaffolding with prefabricated decking in the 1960s.
With the move to the current headquarters in Regau, Upper Austria, international success also began with the scaffolding and formwork systems - quality products made in Austria. For 80 years, the RINGER family business has been firmly rooted in the region, an important employer and reliable partner to the construction industry, true to the motto: Promised - kept!
Breakthrough with innovations
At the end of the 1980s, RINGER introduced the first Austrian aluminium framed formwork, followed in 1992 by the MASTER formwork system made of aluminium and steel. The growing success made it necessary to expand production capacities. More and more sales agencies were set up abroad, and things went from strength to strength: the STEEL Master system was launched in 2004, followed by the ST2000 lightweight steel formwork in 2006 and the first RINGER slab table. With its innovative strength and consistent economic development, RINGER became a permanent fixture in the construction industry - far beyond Austria.
A family business in its fourth generation
After Philipp Ringer joined the family business in 2011 alongside Markus and Thomas Ringer, it is now jointly managed by the third and fourth generations: as before, with lean structures and short lines of communication, responding quickly and flexibly to customer requests, with handshake quality and unwavering innovative strength.
In the past five years alone, the Master PRO one-side tie wall formwork system, the AluDEK slab formwork system and the DEKplus slab table have been developed. In addition, there have been investments in buildings, employees and production technology, a large photovoltaic system, an interactive showroom and, last but not least, numerous awards.
The success story continues
In the 80th year of its existence, RINGER is ideally equipped for the future: with seven locations in Austria, subsidiaries in Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary as well as partners in and beyond Europe. Long-standing and new customers in over 50 countries rely on RINGER's sophisticated, high-quality solutions.
Because quality pays off - Stefanie Ringer already knew that 80 years ago.
