A new residential project with a total of 107 flats is currently under construction in Kleingasse in Wiener Neustadt. With residential units ranging from 62 m² to 117 m², the complex will offer living space for a wide range of requirements. The architectural design comprises several buildings, creating a diverse range of housing options. Two interconnected underground car parks will provide convenient parking for all future residents.

SWIETELSKY, as the executing construction company, is relying on the proven advantages of the RINGER rental park to successfully realise the shell of the project. Various formwork and safety solutions from Austria's best formwork supplier 2023 are being used.

Wall formwork with large Master PRO elements

In order to keep to the tight schedule, the walls were realised using large Master PRO elements. Thanks to the main panels measuring 300x240 cm and a maximum permissible concrete pressure of 80kN/m², the walls could be constructed quickly. The advantage of this high-quality steel frame formwork also lies in the fact that it can be operated from one side. The reduced time required for single-sided anchoring and the large formwork area per anchor mean that working time can be significantly reduced compared to conventional systems. In addition, the symmetrical tie grid creates a perfect exposed concrete result with a horizontally and vertically aligned tie pattern. To ensure the necessary safety during concreting, Concreting Platforms L were suspended from the top of the Master PRO formwork elements using the crane. The ready-to-install units with hinged guardrails were ready for use in just a few simple steps.

Slab formwork with AluDEK: effortless installation from the ground

SWIETELSKY relied on the fast slab formwork AluDEK, for concreting the slabs. With the help of the AluDEK assembly pole, the formwork can be easily erected from the ground with minimal manpower. Formwork elements measuring 135*135 cm, 135*90 cm, 135*60 cm and 135*45 cm were used. The system also combines the advantages of panelised slab formwork with the benefits of beam formwork. This means fast formwork in the control area and flexible formwork in the fitting areas. In addition, the gaps were skilfully compensated with AL2000 panels as well as AluDEK infill beams and formwork panels. The system is designed so that all parts can be assembled with just one AluDEK head. Standard props with a load-bearing capacity of 20kN were also used. A single concreting section of the 30 cm thick slabs covered an average of 700 m².

Due to the enormous dimensions of the ceiling surfaces, the ceiling construction had to be structurally guaranteed with appropriate beams. The formwork required for this could be constructed quickly using H20 beams and formwork panels. Fall protection at the edge of the formwork was realised with Guardrail Clamps. This side protection system is attached directly to the AluDEK panels using an adapter. When stripping the formwork, the AluDEK head impressed with its rapid lowering system. If the lowering wedge is released with a hammer blow, the formwork elements can be stripped easily and conveniently.

Customised pillars

PAX formwork was used to erect the rectangular pillars. Thanks to its large adjustment range, the high-performance system enabled flexible adaptation to different column sizes (80x25 cm and 90x25 cm) without having to change the formwork facing. The robust steel profiles and the patented folding mechanism not only ensure stability and efficiency, but also a high quality of exposed concrete without any disruptive anchor points.

Various façade work was carried out using RINGER 3S-Platform. The platform was securely anchored using the 3S climbing platform adapter. 3S corner decks were chosen to create 90° corners.

The total value of the materials used by RINGER for the shell construction totalled over 2.2 million euros. First occupancy is planned for mid-2025.
