The community centre at the new sports field in Schechen, a community in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim, was newly built to offer local clubs more storage space and more room to move around in the facilities. With five changing rooms, three shower rooms, a kitchen for up to 250 diners and much more, the diverse needs of the local clubs have been met. Schweinsteiger Bau GmbH built this project using rented formwork and accessories from RINGER.

Filigree slab combined with fast AluDEK hand-set formwork

The entire construction project was divided into two sections. During the planning phase, Schweinsteiger Bau GmbH deliberately decided against a filigree slab in the second section and instead opted for the flexible AluDEK manual formwork system from RINGER. This decision made it possible to significantly reduce the shuttering time and better adapt to individual conditions, which would have been more difficult to realise with the usual filigree slab. The system proved to be so efficient and easy to set up that the entire slab formwork could be completely erected within half a day.

Cost, speed & flexibility are convincing

AluDEK modular slab formwork combines the advantages of panel slab formwork with those of beam formwork, enabling fast forming in the standard area and flexible adjustments in the fitting areas. This combination has greatly simplified work processes and improved adaptability for complex sections. Schweinsteiger Bau GmbH was more than satisfied with this formwork solution, particularly due to the high flexibility and the cost advantage of the AluDEK compared to the filigree slab.

“RINGER combines economic efficiency with first-class quality - an unbeatable combination and exactly what we need for our construction projects.”

The concreting cycles of the ceiling area formed with AluDEK were structured as follows: the first cycle covered an area of 183 m² and the second 115 m². With a ceiling height of 3.50 m, the ceiling thickness in the clubhouse is 30 cm. Smaller fitting areas were levelled out with AluDEK support rails and formwork panels.

Despite the rather small concreting sections, the AluDEK system from RINGER showed clear advantages over the prefabricated filigree ceiling elements. The quick assembly and low rental costs resulted in considerable economic savings. In addition, the rapid construction progress shortened the working time and led to further reductions in labour costs.

RINGER support for filigree ceiling

An area of 422 m² was tendered as a filigree ceiling. The accessories for this work were also supplied by RINGER. The necessary support for the 3.5 m high semi-precast slab was provided by RINGER 20kN floor props and RINGER H20 beams with a yoke beam spacing of 110 cm.

Thanks to the efficient slab formwork from RINGER, the community centre was completed on time and economically.
