In order to process sewage sludge sustainably, a new sewage sludge plant was built in Mallersdorf in Germany. The mono-incineration plant with phosphorus recovery ensures groundwater protection and soil conservation. Sewage sludge is processed into dry matter and the raw material and energy are recycled. With the project, energy can now be produced directly on site and 27.000 tonnes of sewage sludge can be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner every year.
The project cost is around 10 million euros. It was implemented by our partner, the company Paul Meister, which used the RINGER steel master formwork including concreting platform "L" for the construction of the walls. The height of 3.30m and the dimensional stability were particularly convincing. But it is not only the project that is sustainable, thanks to our plastic-coated formwork skin, our formwork has an extended service life and can save on waste.
An investment for the future.
