Three residential buildings with a total of 24 modern flats are being built in Mondsee. Move-in is planned for the first quarter of 2025. For the construction work, Eder Bau GmbH opted for the tried-and-tested RINGER double guardrail scaffolding - for maximum safety, flexibility and efficiency.
Customised scaffolding solutions
The entire building complex was completely scaffolded with up to five layers of scaffolding. The galvanised façade scaffolding offers optimum corrosion protection and durability. Various customised solutions were implemented in order to optimally adapt to the obtuse angles of the building geometry. The flexibility of this façade scaffolding also played a decisive role:
- Flexible bay lengths:
Different scaffolding bays were realised with standard material - for economical and efficient use.
- Variable scaffolding widths:
By using different brackets, the scaffolding could be widened at required passages and the distance to the building minimised.
- Barrier-free passage:
A guardrail brace was omitted at strategic points on the lowest floor to ensure a clear passageway.
Quick access thanks to aluminium platform with hatch and ladder
The aluminium platform with access hatch ensures safe and quick access to the next scaffolding level. Measuring 2.50 x 0.60 m, it offers sufficient space and is equipped with a permanently mounted ladder that is secured with a snap lock. Castors on the underside of the ladder make handling even easier. The platform is available both as an all-aluminium version and with a screen printing plate.
In this project, the double guardrail scaffolding was used not only as working scaffolding, but also as roof safety scaffolding. The top layer, the safety catch layer, was fitted with S decking panels to ensure a continuous and safe working surface.
Guardrail supports and approved side protection nets provided reliable fall protection - a decisive factor for safe working at great heights.
